Kaibab Camper Village located just north of the Grand Canyon’s Winter North Rim, is the nearest campground to the North Rim that offers full hookups for RVs. Located along the shores of Jacob Lake, Kaibab Camper Village offers secluded Grand Canyon camping amid old growth pines. It’s also a short drive from other stunning natural sites, including Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
North Rim Campground The North Rim campground is a tent campsite located in the North Rim village. This is your only option for a drive in campground in the North Rim village area. Sites can be booked via an advanced reservation system, and for those don’t make a reservation you will usually find all the sites full. Pets are allowed, but must be leashed at all times, and may not be left unattended.
Desert View Campground Surrounded by piñons and juniper, this secluded Grand Canyon Winter camping spot is nestled 25 miles from Grand Canyon Village, but within walking distance of breathtaking Desert View Overlook. No hookups are available, but RVs are welcome.
Mather Campground Located near Grand Canyon Village, Mather Campground offers great camping close to all the South Rim’s conveniences and hiking trails. No hookups are available, but RVs are welcome. Or try the adjacent Trailer Village, an RV campground with full hookups. Campsites fill up quickly at both locations during peak months, so reservations are strongly recommended from April though November.
Toroweap Campground Located in the far reaches of the western Grand Canyon Winter off the North Rim is Toroweap/Tuweap Campground. There are nine sites available for 1-6 people and up to 2 vehicles on a first-come first-served basis. These sites typically don’t fill, but may in the spring or fall season.
